Being a Redhead is not always easy, The struggle is Real sometimes. Below you find 15 struggles we Redheads have to deal with.
1. You never ever get lost in a crowd. Your friends can always find you pretty easily because, well, there’s a bright red beacon on your head. Can be handy but not if you want to sneak out of a party without that one annoying guy noticing.
2. Your hair is always your calling card. You’re always described as, “Claire, you know, the one with the red hair!”
3. Your favorite Disney princess was and always will be Ariel. Personally I prefer Merida from Brave..
4. People naturally assume you’re Irish or have some Irish in you. I do like Guinness but that's the only Irish thing about me
5. You have a love-hate relationship with meeting new people, cause 95 % of the time they open with, “OMG, I love your hair!” That's really nice, but you just dropped 50 euro on a new top and no one even notices it.
6. You’re always compared to Lindsay Lohan, Christina Hendricks, Emma Stone and so on, even if you look NOTHING like them. Except for your hair. Now I'm ok with Christina and Emma but Lindsay Lohan... please, Just don't.
7. Everyone touches your hair. Especially granny's. As if they expect it to be a different temperature or something..
8. If your friends want to dress up as the “Mean Girls” crew or the Spice Girls, you are automatically assigned to be Cady Heron or Ginger Spice, even if you’ve always seen yourself as more of a Victoria.
9. “South Park” ruined your life. I've mentioned it before so no further explanation needed.
10. Having to buy sunscreen with 50+ protection.
11. If you get a sunburn, you’re just asking to be made fun of.
12. Makeup does not always understand you. Too many bright shades makes you look like a drag queen or an 18th century prostitute. I'll stick to the natural look for now.
13. You wish Miranda from “Sex and the City” was cooler, Cause she’s the only ginger on the show.
14. People are stunned if you’re a good looking redhead. Not every ginger is odd looking, as “South Park” portrayed.
15. Guys say to you, “I’ve never been with a redhead before….” I said it before but I can't say it enough: IT'S CREEPY!
